Chapter 446: Ian Quinnell Returns to China
"Aurora?"
As soon as Thea Shaw and Aurora Sutton appeared, they immediately drew attention.
Before Aurora could speak, the other person greeted her.
Aurora flashed a smile, "Uncle."
Sean Fuller walked over, glanced at Thea Shaw beside Aurora, and said with a smile, "This must be Miss Shaw?"
He appeared mature and elegant, well-maintained, even his physique, looking youthful.
He was quite the opposite of Gordon Woods standing next to him; the two together were the extremes within men.
Thea thought, regardless of his personality, just his disciplined appearance deserves a thumbs up!
Thea beamed, "Yes, hello, Uncle Fuller."
Gordon was a bit surprised to see Thea and Aurora, and then as he watched Sean greet them so familiarly, he remembered how he attempted to chat up Thea the previous day.
Seeing Thea smiling, a cold sweat appeared on Gordon’s forehead.
She seemed extraordinary, yet unexpectedly known by his brother-in-law.
Sean asked warmly and elegantly, "Just two days at work, how’s it going? Anything you’re not accustomed to? If you can’t get used to it, we can find another position for you."
"No, our internship is going very well."
Aurora also smiled slightly; she didn’t want to see Gordon, a nauseating character, and said, "Uncle, we have something to do, so we’ll leave first?"
Sean nodded seeing the situation, "Okay."
He slightly raised his hand, looking at Aurora with a warm gaze, as if wanting to pat her head.
But Aurora, holding onto Thea’s arm, walked away quickly, just said a perfunctory goodbye and left directly.
He lowered his hand, and when looking forward, saw Thea turning back, giving him a meaningful glance.
Once in the car, Thea said, "He’s not your real uncle, is he?"
Aurora thought for a moment, "He can be considered a cousin uncle."
"Oh."
Thea raised her eyebrows subtly.
She couldn’t tell if it was her imagination, but she felt he had no ill intentions toward Aurora, yet that didn’t necessarily mean it was a good thing.
They barely discussed two sentences before, not long after leaving the parking lot, the car braked suddenly, and Aurora and Thea were almost thrown out of their seats, just hearing the driver urgently curse, "Got caught in a car fight!"
The car pulled over, and Thea saw that the vehicle behind them was a black sedan.
It looked rather low-key, but that brand of car is quite expensive.
A handsome man got out from the other side, at first glance, Thea felt he looked familiar.
With an apologetic face, he explained that he had just returned to the country, wasn’t familiar with local traffic rules, took the wrong lane, and thus collided with their car.
He would take full responsibility and compensate, and with such an attitude, the driver didn’t call the traffic police.
It was initially a minor issue until he said he didn’t have cash or a domestic payment method on his phone, hoping they could wait while he called a friend over.
Aurora, seeing his attire and car, presumed him rich and didn’t need his compensation, so since the damage wasn’t severe, she intended for the driver to leave.
But he insisted on compensating and left them a business card.
The company was normal and a major domestic corporation.
But the issue was with the name.
Thea took a glance.
The man’s name was Ian Quinnell.
Thea: ...
Oh wow.
Things are getting more interesting now.
